In Our Grow to Give Program

In 2011, Lennard Ag initiated Grow to Give to supply potatoes to local and regional food pantries. Working with partners, the Grow to Give program provided potatoes from acreage in southern Michigan to provide nutritious potatoes. Potatoes from the program traveled from ten to more than 600 miles to help feed those in need.

This year, Oak Prairie Farms of Bronson, Michigan has generously donated the land for again for Grow to Gives second year. We are very grateful for this partnership with Oak Prairie and are hoping to create more partnerships with area businesses and farms. Plans show that planting of the field will take place around May 9. "Shared Resources Feeding Communities" is what Grow to Give is all about. Together we can Grow to Give one million pounds of potatoes for those in need.
